I dont see why sport needs to be politicised to this level. I guess its these distractions in sport which render the "unprofessional" element to Indian sport inspite of the country having a number of talented individuals. Now that the Indian cricket team demands a significant following in India and is "above" most other institutionalised bodies, a statement by the team disclaiming their resent to a political involvement to their tournaments would set right this problem we currently face.
Be real. Pakistan has all the rights and options to change venues, if they feel that they are not save, like indians team did it last time. They refused to play (Test match) in Karachi and peshawar. Why did they do it? becuase they didnt feel comfortable over there, Well, now when it comes to us you are maikg a big fuss out of it. Pakistan has no problem to call off the series. I hope they do, becuase I dont think they will get any respect in india (remember BCCI jubliee match) People were shouting "PAKISTAN...GO HOME"...Lets be friend, and play cricket.
If Pakistan decides not to play at Ahmedabad for the reason made clear by them and which is the same as described by Mr. Malhotra, BCCI should call off the tour. If at all the BCCI is forced to hold the matches, the people of India, who are basically right-minded and patriotic, SHOULD NOT BUY TICKETS to the matches. Its INDIAN MONEY that sustains WORLD CRICKET today and Pakistan should learn not to play politics with sports for they are the world's pariah as far as cricket is concerned - they always have to go abroad to play !
Now BJP is singing different tune, this party is once again showing this world that no one should ever believ in this party idelogy, when they are in power they behave differently and when they are thrown out of power they behave foolish. i hate this party ....and i am never ever going to vote for them ....
