Cricket and Security and Country's rights
by Deepakumar on Feb 08, 2005 04:28 PM

A country/ a team has the right to abstain from playing at a place where they fear security threats, and every country including Pakistan has the right to raise their concern, provided there are reasons. We cannot say that their argument is unreasonable/ baseless if we look at the political and communal situation in that place and seeing how irresponsible the government machinary there has been.

Govt. of India should take it with PAK and convince them if the Govt. of India can assure the players a secure time.

Mr. Modi should either stop this cheap arguments and should talk like a CM rather than a cheap politician. Else he should keep his mouth shut. He doesn't sound like a true Hindu/ Indian

2 factors..
by srijan on Feb 08, 2005 12:56 PM

Modi's survival in indian politics is primarily based on 2 essential factors "hatered" and "fear". He does his best to keep both the virtues alive among people. All his endeavours are steps in this direction
