Cricket is funny game. Often times theteam winning the toss has a big advantage. So why not give the option of choosing the overs of field restriction to the team loosing the toss. It is same as toss in tennis. The guy who wins the toss either picks the side he will receive or chooses to serve. In cricket the caption winnig the toss can either choose to select the field erstriction on the overs or elect to bat/bowl.
Yea, this is definitely a great news for all the cricket lovers.. its been long since ODIs had smthing new.. it had become quite predictable indeed.. Twenty20 and other shorter versions have been catchin up, and ODIs do need a make over... a quicker version would, when implemented in the future sometime, help to promote CRICKET in US like countries where shorter games like American Football n NBAs are the popular choice...
