do you mind viewing the stats of the "newcomers" such as GAMBHIR and KAIF in all departments. Second, if SAURAV can be under question, so can SEHWAG and TENDULAR.(Please find the stats....)

By including Saurav, an imperfect and incomplete team is loaded with the PROPER LOAD.

Sachin batting for Saurav ??
by Nikhil Shah on Dec 26, 2005 03:22 PM

Why did Sachin bat for Saurav during his meeting with Pawar? The poorest two performers in the last two years have been Sachin & Saurav. It's clear that after Saurav, Sachin would be scrutinised and Sachin knows this. So this is purely a classic case of " I scratch my back, you scratch mine ". Sachin and Saurav need to be replaced wtih Kaif and Yuvraj in the Test team. We have to look at the future. Saurav's exit is not dignified but he was the one who brought it on him. Had he listened to Chappel in Zimbabwe and taken some time off, he certainly would have had lot to offer after a refreshing break. But Alas he doesn't want to work hard to break into the team, just want to do 'Dadagiri' and remain in the team for life.

No sportsmanship

Performance should be the key in selection. If he was dropped because of bad performance it is the responsibility of the player to speak for himself and show changes in efficiency and character and get back into the team. This is so childish to go crying to the management and get back. This is professional cricket. Looks like you need to be family to play cricket too.

It will be bad experience for Team India to include such a failure man.
