Definitely India is world number 2 . This was proved last year when we made Aussies sweat in Australia and thew credit entirely goes to Saurav Ganguly for his captaincy.Additionally Dravid , Laxman and Kumble r also the reasons for INDIA being world number 2. 1 things our selctors forget is that we had a very good opening partenships in Australia.So if India ,build its openers , we r relaay a world class team. Everybody knows how credible these rankings are. Whether India is really the second best team in tests will be confirmed after the Pakistan series. These rankings had put India in some 5th or 6th place of oneday rankings just after India had reached the finals of the worldcup 2003.
Congratulations to the Indian team and Dravid and Greg Chapell in particular. Hope Sharad Pawar doesn't play one of his dirty politics with the Indian team.
I wish to congratulate the Indian Team for their performance by winning test match and one day series against sri lanka. Indian team has performed well both in one dayers as well as in test matches (Bowling,Batting,fielding).
