I wonder how the batsmen are not objecting the peculiar action of Malinga, especially because his hand is so much inclined that it comes from infront of umpire's shirt!! The sight screen is of no use! batsmen must be finding it difficult to trace the bowling palm of this bowler. but surprisingly no such comments are heard.
Taking Mohamed Kaif was not a correct decision. He is a typical one day player and does not have the patience to bat on for hours / days in a test match. His fielding ability too is on a low right now. I am not into the controversy of omitting Ganguly, but having taken WasimJaffer in the fifteen, he should have been taken instead of M.Kaif. Gambhir and Jaffer could have opened and Sehwag could have come one down.
Malinga's action is certainly suspect. May be he manages to keep the hand straight, but his delivery is akin to throwing. Of course our batsmen did not have the patience; otherwise tackling him was not something impossible, as amply displayed by Laxman. Match is at the moment evenly poised. Unless Indian Team rededicates itself, Sri Lank will square the series.
why the selector not considering zaheer khan. recently he performed well in the rangi trophy but the selectors didn't considered for srilanka's match he is quality bowler.so i ask the selectors please consider zaheer khan for the pakistan tour
