Prem,
Do u think that any cricketer can play well or focused when he knows that he might have been thrown outside of team at any moment. Also all cricketers have to go thru bad patch in his lifetime. But the person like SOURAV(who brings a lot of prestige for his country along with his team)must not end himself in a disgraceful ways (by few persons). What do u think
Regards, Amit

Those who can publish a page or answer questions on the net IMHO doesnt need to have the qualification of a Journalist. If you just go through the blogs and comments published on the net Mr.Prem ,you will understand that net community would love to shoot mails on every silly topic.

Journalism is a different territory though and journalists are a scarce these days.

Ganguly's ouster...
by Kamal Verma, Abu Dhabi on Dec 17, 2005 01:15 PM

Hi Prem,
Dont you think that the selection committee, the present captain Mr. Rahul and above all, the Manager, Mr. Chappel all are prejudiced against Sourav and satisfying their some or more hidden hunger and interests somehow or other by axing the most successful captain of India? Secondly, why should not we think that the BCCI has now become a total political body after Sharad Pawar\'s arrival. Thirdly, I think you should not be against my opinion if I say that lobbying is becoming an integral part of BCCI. Now it also seems true that the whole body and its persons have started making troubles for the persons whom they even think slightly to be affilited with Mr. Dalmia at any point of time. Please reply.

The present crisis has been brought about by the attitude of Greg. He puts personal likes & dislikes before other things. He like to play the White God to us poor natives. It is colonial thinking harking back to the colony days. He just cannot stand an Asian being assertive. With all respect to Dravid and Tendulkar , they are too meek to stand up to his bullying. We had Sidhu who had some spine and then came Ganguly. Wheather Ganguly is reinstated or not Chappel should be sent to Australia.
