Timely Response

It was very nice to hear Mr. Pawar speak to public. The statements also seem convincing it is upto the public now not to make a big fuss about it. Actually thinking if you remove the emotional part of the whole issue I do have a heart to say that the decision was quite correct although removal of senior would take in a lot of wounds. But India seemed to be preparing for a back up option against future test series. My theory would prove absolutely right iff Ganguly is restored in the team for Pakistan Series we would need a lot of experience there. Looking at this situation it proved that it was very important for all other players to play and Ganguly just cannot be kept in the squad and not be allowed to play in the playing XI It would be best for the game if media does not encourage more protests and let this die with time.

Ganguly issue

Mr. Pawar should take into account that it is not only the question of of injustice and emotion-it is the murder of Indian cricket and it is his responsibility to save the Indian cricket. When all experts, except MORE, feel wrong then it should be corrected immediately. It will be right to raise the issue in parliament for discussion, as few people are blocking the future of Indian cricket. It is a shame on the part of BCCI- Mr. Pawar should accept that.

What r we doing.. Let sports be sports.. Pls dont make politics out of it. Why the hell should these things be discussed in parliament. I donno why people are doing regionalism in India. Somnath Chatterjee's and Pranab Mukherjee's should bother about the country's governance than give stupid remarks. Why are we forgetting that India is finally winning again..We lost last year to evryone -pak, aus, even to new zealand. Cant we think we are winning now and be happy at last.

People have right to say in Indian Cricket team..

Hello Mr Pawar,

We the Indian public made cricket such a popular game. And we the public treat the players as GOD.You people are there justfor the sake of power and money that cricket board earns.

So you don't teach us the moralities of the selection process. You are a great "Maratha Hero" and great politician some time back. When you fight for own identity. But you betrayed all your great fans by accepting minister role under the same umbreall.

You said "I feel politics should be kept out of cricket. Selecting the team is a job best left to the experts. If they commit any mistakes, they will correct the same whenever necessary," . If that is the case other than a politician what else the right you have to be a BCCI precident.I guess you are kidding yourself.

Selecting the team is a job best left to experts. If you feel those 5 selectors are experts then its a biggest joke on those guys. They didn't played together the tests played by DADA, 1/10th of runs scored by dada in any form the game.

Are they experts? Let them come in front of public and say that they are experts. Please be truthful atleast in this job.I still have a great respect to u "Mratha Hero" .

Sreekanth
