In Proper Decision Of The Award Of man of The Match
by Altaf Adam Sharif on Dec 14, 2005 04:24 PM

Dear Sir the Award of the man of the match has given to anil Kumble As he tooks total 10 Wkts in the match
On the other hand Irfan pathan has given the Break thru in 1st innings by taking 3 important Wkts in the First innings And The Knoct Of 93 Runs Which has given India a Winning Lead in the second Innings and also 1 wkts in the second innings. This is Not a good performance Or the selector must give both of them the awards or it is injustice against him

Dr. Suvendu Das
error in your report
by Dr. Suvendu Das on Dec 14, 2005 04:01 PM

The article is good. In the first line of fifth para there is an error. Srilanka resumed at 123 for 5, not 7 as written. may please like to rectify before others are confused.

Now Ganguly Lovers -Dont crib and cry
by Rakesh on Dec 14, 2005 03:20 PM

What Ganguly should have done to make a strong come back was to play an innings of a life time,He should have really played like an experienced war horse.

See what Kumble has done -Proved him mettal once again,he has laid a path for the much younger players to emmulate.(Many can\'t even dream to emmulate him)

If Ganguly ever wanted a permanent place in the Indian squard he should have played like Kumble. But with the type of rust accumlated over the years (U are actually playing politics not cricket)it was difficult for Ganguly.

As regards Laxman this 3rd test would be a final chance,Jao Laxman Pyare.

Hail King Kumble!
by rohan on Dec 14, 2005 02:29 PM

Kumble bowled wonderfully well in tandem with Harbhajan,he took the responsibility of the Indian attack with full flow.It was a treat 2 watch him bowl as he looked like taking a wicket every ball,he bowled so straight...he rightly deserves the Man of The Match award. HAIL KING KUMBLE....keep going King!
