It is not at all fair to treat the most succesful captain of india. Ganguly is the inspiration for young cricketers. & according to me the best batsman india has ever produced. he crossed is 10000 run mark faster. even faster than our own MASTER BLASTER Sachin Tendulkar. & Despite of so much of failures recently he has got a very good average. Kicking him off from the TEST TEAM was really his insult. I THINK HE IS THE BEST.
all jokers are the selectors of indian team,kiran more is the worst wicket keeper,he just scored below 2000 runs in tests,if patterson is bowling for him he use to cry in the crease.what to do he is the selector?can kiran more judge any body? first the selectors should be selected by there experience,we had greate players like kapil,gavaskar,sandip patil,jimmy,venserkar,srikkanth,sidhu and more,we should give them the selectors post not to the man who dosent even know the cricket. ganguly is the mentor,he scored more than 10000 runs in odis and 23 centuries,scored more than 4000 runs in tests.the way these people are treating ganguly is not good,he is most successful captian of india alltime. if the selectors are talking about the performance,then sachin should be dropped from the oneday side,because his avg is 4,the last 9 matches he scored 36 runs.there should equal rule for everbody in the team.kiran more said we are picking ganguly as an allrounder,he has not boweld a single ball. let ganguly play odi also.selectors are giving chance to sachin then why not ganguly. sriram.
if thts the case then everyone in the team should be removed. and should a chance for younger ones still waiting to get a chance..
the selectors should check the past 10 matches records of test cricket and select the team if the selectors can do that even sachin would not find the place in the team
Ganguly has been a great captain and can be said unarguably the mentor of modern TEAM INDIA in aggression.If he comes back as a great batsman which he is or not he always owes a salute for serving the INDIAN CRICKET WITH FULL CONVICTION.
Till not very long ago he was also the tiger of the Indian cricket. It can happen only here that a person who has brought so much glory to the country in the past five years is being dictated but people (More, Dungarpur & Co.) who have made no contribution, but only created avoidable controversies. These are the few thankless people who have been helped by Saurav in the past. 1. Greg Chappel would not have been Coach had Saurav not cleared him. 2. Dravid would not be playing one dayers, had Saurav not insisted in retaining him as a wicketkeeper batsman. Today both of them seem to be the most against Saurav. My request to the authorities concerned is, please abstain from dirtying the sport which is almost a religion in our country. Saurav could have had any player he wanted in the team, but he stuck to the players he thaught were best (Yuvraj, Kaif,etc). Please respect the man for all these qualities, instead of treating him the way he is being treated.
He definetly needs to be treated in a better way. He is the person who made the Indian team to get its bite, before his captaincy, they were just a bunch of irresponsible but great individual contributors! He made them a good unit to recon with. The way he led the team in Australia, i dont think any one can forget it. Lets give him his share of pride. Lets treat him in the way we should. THanks Aravinthan
the way that the selectors treated ganguly was very unfair, for every player there will be a phase where he is having bad form,gangulyis a good player and an aggressive captain ever 4 india,sachin too is in out of form but why is not being pulled off?bcoz he is from mumbai. jai ganguly
