To the disgust of Indian cricket fans at the poor performance of Indian team, India did however manage to create a new record at the Chennai test. As the much hyped Tendulkar's 35th test century or Ganguly's thumping comeback didn't materialize, India did manage to shame fans by folding up at 167, the lowest ever total against the Lankans. A record after all!!
India played like idiots. The only reason was to let Tendulkar score his 35th ton. It is the classic case of one person being more than the rest of the team put together. In doing the same they've given a mental advantage to badly wounded Lankan lions. And Lankans made the best use of the opportunity.
i think india played in this test match with much below their potential. the killer instinct was not there. the bowlers lack the bite and fielders too disappointed. more then bowlers and fielders it is the indian batsman who played horrible shots and poor cricket. they have to change from poor to aggressive if they have to show good fight before the delhi test
