Sir, Sharad Pawar has been elected into the BCCI.At least he being a politician should should have thought about the nation. It is Doordarshan which reaches millions of houses in this country. The rights not only for this match, but any other matches which are played on Indian soil must be aired only by Doordarshan and not by any private channel.Because of this sudden twist cricket fans in the rural areas may be put to trouble. This matter needs immediate attention,so let us hope that Pawar thinks for the nation and takes the right decision.
We the citizens of this country and belonging to the state of Tamilnadu would not appreciate this as we do not get to see matches without the settop boxes, which everyone cannot afford to have.It would be good if people realize this and share the telecast rights with prasar bharti which is doing a excellent job. I hope the law makers understand the difficulty faced by the people in tamilnadu.
Its is disappointing that the matches will be played in chennnai and other parts of country and the matches will not be displayed on television to chennai citizens due to set top box. Its is very sad that the ordinary man cannot view mathes played in his home town.
