Dear mr. ganguly we need action, not words. One more thing INDIA should learn to play or win matches without sachin. A healthy opinion for the selectors: STOP MAKING TOO MANY CHANGES. Its fine to give chance to the newcomers, but pleasantly not at the cost of losing matches. Its been almost a decade now, we haven't got a steady wicket-keeper who can bat a bit and there has been always a danger to find a steady opener in test cricket.
Selectors! we have too many players who can serve INDIA as openers in ODIs, so stop worrying about it.
Hi all, I am not able to control my laughter reading Ganguly's statement.He is calling Indian batsmen to bat well!! I would like to ask Mr.Ganguly abt his contribution to Indian total in last 2 years. We have lost almost all tournaments. A leader must lead by being a Role Model. Yata Raja Tata Praja. Indian players seem to be doing that. Mr. Ganguly there all following you.What mistake did Dravid commit any mistake in last series. He made 3 fifties in 5 matches n all the games had a close finish.

i and indian people would be proud of your previous innings, but how long you will rest on that, you havent played well for a period of 1.5 years which is very bad.

or please step down from indian team both as captain and player. - we dont need a irresponsible captain who always blames others for his and team's losses.
What about your performance ? One should lead by example if not possible then it is better to resign This is the right time to resign and give chance to younger players
Indian top order batsmen thinking they are safe. But somebody should take care so that if anyone is not playing well for a long time then they must be dropped. What indian think if a player scores a century then he is a hero. But he scores below 10 for 20 matches.After 15,16 matches he scores a fifty or hundred but it is needless because if we give a chance to youngsters they score better than them. We replace the player (drop) who is playing once in 20 matches.
Indian captain should show deeds himself than mere talking. The way he faced few balls of Mr Bond that he survived and ultimately perished, shows that he can never face him in future with confidence because his technique which he has developed against genuine fast bowling over the years will live with him.
Mr. Captain when you say "India must bat better", who is supposed to show the way? I would hate to think about a team whose Captain is so weak against fast bowling. Man management is not the dominant factor in cricket like any other business. You deserve to be a non-playing captain like in Tennis or probably a coach who does not have to do anything himself except preaching and make policies off-field. I am sorry I dont see any future for Indian cricket. It will always be two out ten in favour of India winning. Consistency? forget it.
A friendly advice to Mr Ganguly, hit out or get out. We Indians are really fed-up with our Team and sincerly would like to see them sit at home instead of bringing shame to our nation time and again. Mr Ganguly, better perform or else be gracious enough to resign and let other capable player take up the position of the captain. It seems corruption has creaped into the Selection procedure too, it is evident from the fact that so many thoroughly useless and spineless players are still playing.
The comment made in this article is very superficial. The person who should bat better is the captain. If he can't fulfill his duties as a captain then how can he tell his team to bat better.
