Team India stranded in Bulawayo!
by C D Pereira on Aug 28, 2005 03:58 PM

Ever since Mr Shetty of Team India Management went on the air praising Pakistani hosts for lavishly feeding them with 'mutton'during their last tour of that Country, our men in blue have remained close to dust. The rest has all been bombast & hype! Perhaps this episode at Bulawayo is a reflection of their readiness for action. There should be accountability & some heads rolling!!

Ganguly should be dropped from the Indian team
by Cyril Zachariah Mossess on Aug 28, 2005 12:26 PM

What is the use of a player who doesn't do anything for the team.Ganguly has done well in the past but he is resting on the past laurels and it is high time that he should be dropped from the team. This applies to Yuvraj singh also he will be playing once in a while to retain his place in the team.at the moment Indian team will loe even to Zimbabwe .We should follow what Pakistan has done to Shoaib Aktar. Most of the Indian players don't have any discipline or commitment to the team.Brinng in some youngsters they'll do what the experienced players like Ganguly and Yuvaraj can't do.

Indian team's callous attitude...
by Shivkumar on Aug 28, 2005 07:14 AM

The main reason for the callous and 'don't care' attitude of the Indian team can be explaiend by the fact that they get far more monies for their easy work off-the-filed - through ads and other means than the tough job they need to display on-the-field, and the off-the-field earnings does not seem to change due to their on-the-field performance.

If there is a link between the two - like if the performance on-the-field drops, all his ad earnings also would drop, then they will perform well.

Or, the ad contrcats should say that the contract is fully dependent on their on-the-field performance and the advertisers are free to stop or drop at their discretion depending upon their on-the-field performance. That should a lot of good to the Indian Cricket. Easy money is the culprit for the shameful performance by the so-called "Great Batsmen"!! There is just no consistency, which makes their performance unliable.

India - NZ one day
by vishal bhargava on Aug 28, 2005 01:36 AM

Wooooosh!....again .....again....again...and it will keep on going till the indian people repeat the same scenario during the world cup in south africa. The best part is the dignity and self respect is no more with the indian time. They cant stand and do anything to make everybody feel proud but infact they are making us feel embarrased in the whole world. I have never felt like watching india play after tired of these grave losses and incapability shown by indian team. I think a blind indian cricket team would have scored better than what these represntatives of india are doing their onfield.

The letter " shame " gets ashamed after looking indian performance. I believe chappel might be thinking that he made the biggest mistake of accepting this responsiblity because this is worst.

God Help Indian Cricket.!

Extrude people who dont play well from team.
by Vineet on Aug 28, 2005 12:12 AM

Hello selectors do u hear. The problem with india is
1)their contract system.
2)Unnecessary boasting of players(Especially Players like Dhonilike just 1 innings he plays takes him to skies)
3)Prejudiced Selection.
Remember when Steve Waugh Even though his team was winning due to his bad form in ODI he was axed()this is in context to Mr Ganguly)

Waste candidates
by Vaseem on Aug 27, 2005 11:17 PM

Hi!!!!!
Indian cricket team should be told to go by boat since BCCI can not afford money for waste candidates who score 41 for 8.

Our team is stranded but not our dignity, it is sinking
by jay on Aug 27, 2005 10:52 PM

Unprofessional players with lot of talent is our pack. Our dignity is lost!

We need team management under a god captain. We dont look at the past laurels of Ganguly. We should respect him but a post cannot run a marathon or bat! You need sold batsmen and not the so called "most successful captain" who is out of his best.
