I give my respect, love & affection for england who placed a blistering performance last day.Ponting has himself to blame about and his team who feels, there are the KINGS of cricket. If this is how ponting reacts to a such a small situation, how well he would react, when his team comes to lose many matches.Australia is one such a good time to be followed but, certain characters are one such damns never to be followed.

At last the aussies got the test of their own medicine.During the six-seven years or so in international cricket, aussies have dominated the world by sheer talent and their approach to the game. They have also helped by their arrogance both on and off the field. The ICC and the umpires have also turned a blind eye towards their illtempered behaviour mainly directed to the opponents.I as an indian distinctly remember how M.Slater begaved with Rahul dravid iN 2001 that too on an Indian ground.Off course noone forgot how tendulkar was treated by Mcgrath and Co in Australia. Now that they are paid back they will whine over all this.In fact the aussies should be barred from playing all other nations.

Aussies have always been bad losers !! Remember the second test when the players and the australian media made such a big fuss over the authenticity of the catch which helped england level the series ?. Time to come back to earth Mr.Ponting & co. !!

well said man.Now ICC is deaf and dumb but it will soon be proactive in banning, fining and censuring all the colored players of the world especially from the subcontinent.Amazing isnt it more than 80% of the revenue generated in cricket is thru india but our BCCI is a lame duck and the only man who is responsible is the jaggu dalmiya.Just see where Indian cricket lies now a days. its all coz of him.He only knowshow to earn money by milking players.he simply ignores nurturing talent.

If it was an Indian then he would have been given a severe punishment on-spot. How about now ICC ???

The invesible Aussis
by Manoj on Aug 28, 2005 11:00 AM

Well..the media always said that the aussis plays mind game and are suffring from foot in mouth problem. It is a good way to get back at them...Mr Pointing would like to remind himself the way his team has behaved in past specily in tight situation by sleddging and defending those action...Vaugn at least ensure that he is not loosing his dignity and working under rules

Ponting's new excuse
by Arun on Aug 28, 2005 07:25 AM

This is Aussie defence at its best. Unable to defend the bowling of ENglish fast bowlers on the pitch, check out what Ricky has come up with. The issue of specialist Sub fielders. The issue was with taking the risky single. For all u know, even Kevin Peterson would have hit the stumps. The Aussies have a problem admiting defeat and this is the worst defence possible to put across!!
