Ganguly has been riding his luck basically becuase of the teams effort and there were very instances where he led from the front to show that he is an astute leader. He doesn't pick up the short stuff despite so much of experience.
I think basically is he is there in the helm of affairs only becuase of his God father - Jagmohan Dalmia, otherwise he would have been ousted last year itself.
I do admire his captaincy but his running into poor form is much of concern! I wonder where his super sixes went! He and Sachin are two such players who could ponders the openents to gaze for balls in the arena! But everybody has their day! Let good fortunes turn back to him on the upcoming matches! Let once again he be adjudged as the king of offside than being judged as the king of ducks! GOOD LUCK GANGULY!
If it was possible for me then I would have asked Virendra Sehwag to just shutup. When ever this over hyped "attacking" batsman hits a century or a half century, he starts talking about captaincy and passes judgements.
First of all, the captaincy is being handed over to a famous loser and this guy supports him against a person who works like a machine for Team India.
Those bunch of jokers should have handled Dravid professionally. Atleast he deserves that.
Dravid deserves better deal

Rahul Dravid, The Wall, Who works like a machine for the success of TEAM INDIA deserves a better deal. By dropping him just after one series from the captaincy would have definetely demoralised him. His hardwork deserves more than Ganguly's past record. Ganguly should have been made to wait for another series. It is not correct on the part of Virendra Shewag to comment on the issue of Captaincy right now. He has a very long way to go. He has to prove again and again with consistent performance. Just one flashy knock here and there is not at all sufficient. He has to learn a lot from Rahul Dravid for consistent performance.
