I am a little befuddled, maybe a little bit more than Madhav. Was this 'column' meant to be funny? If so, it did nothing to tickle my funny bone. To put it midly, it was pretty pathetic and amateurish. I had no idea, at the beginning, during or after the end of the read exactly what the piece meant to convey.
It was an interesting piece of information.We have the problem of mental makeup.Our players, it seems, go with a particular plan and do not provide for a Plan II if Plan I fails.There is no imaginative handling of the bowling/batting/fielding.There is not much lateral thinking in the minds of the players when they face situations in the field individually.Afterall, individual attempts only take the team to victory or defeat.
