What is ICC trying to prove out is not understandable. Teams like Zimbabwe and Bangladesh should not be have been given the test status.What ICC can do is giving these countries chance to play with other non test playing nations and if they show considerable improvement in that and in the one day internationals against second grade teams (.... not against world champions australia and emerging England team) then they can be given the test status.No point in going into the test and scoring half a century by eleven players .This will hurt the morale of the team if it is performing well in one day internationals.
