Consistency was never India's forte. It still isnt. But you offered glimpses of what a consistent Indian team could achieve. Thats something that i've seen for the first time.
Thank You Sir for opting to coach India. Wish you all the very best for your future.

Well Mr. Shaik, talent has always been there. This factor is more or less constant. Its how you nurture this talent is what matters. Traditionally India lacked in strategies, and managed so far with pure talent and flavour. Its John's behind the scene game plan, work ethic, selflessness and his passion / never say die spirit that rubbed onto the team. The only difference in this team (including team mangt), vis-a-vis earlier teams is John. So, logically speaking, we can say that John's influence on the team has been positive.

John has been the best thing that has happened to Indian Cricket. A series draw against Aus in Aus, a series win in Pak, and the number of away wins!! Has this ever happened before in Indian Criket history? If we failed during anytime in his tenure, it was because of the inability of our players to learn their lessons, and ofcourse, the blame should always be charged against BCCI - the most pathetic and unprofessional lot one can ever find. Its so ironical that a 'foreigner' had to teach our players the pride for playing for India, and that they owe it to this cricket crazy fans, and how a good performance (let alone a victory) brings joy to a common man in India, and how they owe it to them. I love this man. He has been truly fantastic. I have personally learned something from him - not sure if the concerned people have!!! You cannot easily find someone like John in this era. Its not wrong if one asks that this should be the size of his paycheck before being appointed, because they are professional. But the fact that John did not care for that and instead asked what should be his and the BCCI's vision, speaks volumes about this unassuming gentleman. Three cheers for him!!!

Kaif, Yuvi, Zahir, Pathan and Sehwag all have natural talent. Because of them India is doing well in recent years but John Wright is taking all these credit

I wish there was some way that we could boot out the bunch of jokers (selection committee) and replace them with John Wright - a man who has a vision , displays no ego , and would not play selectorial politics.

John showed us the value of having a foreign coach and a totally professional one at that. How can we even consider going back to the Gavaskar/Kapil/Madan Lal etc as the coach of the Indian team - with their petty regionalistic biases!

All the very best in all your future endeavors John!!

John Wright as a Coach

Hi Mr. John

As you know that Indian are famous in making people great just with one success and kick him out just after a liitle failure.

Of course, you shaped the Indian Cricket, but not in a professional way. You always concentrated on your own ideas. You should have asked each and every palyers, thier views and their drawbacks to rectify the errors and short comings. But, you never did this.

Sometimes, you never thought that individual short comings are also stop wining the games. After all, you did a great job for Indian cricket.

But, at last, u disappointed us.

But, your end is very bad.

in spite of this, "We Indian wish you a happy ending in your future assignment."

Thanks and our best regrds,

M. K. Akhtar

Mr. Akhtar,
You seems to be a very pessmistic person. Life and Cricket both should be measured in terms of length, when I say that look at the length of john's tenure and look at the achievments. We made in to world cup finals after 20 years. To answer your individual short coming stuff, international cricketer needs to be fine tuned in mind. International coach is all about making strategies and counter strategies in conjuction with captain. BE OPTIMISTIC, INDIANS ARE NOT THAT BAD. HOPE YOU ARE AN INDIAN.

Well Known- former New Zealand opener and captain John Geoffrey Wright! Now-a-days was betterly known as Coach of India(now former coach after pakistan series.

For Indian Team
John Geoffrey Wright brought the professinalism in the team by bring good phsio like Andrew Leipus, by making the team important players available during crucial matches especially well our Wall i.e., Rahul Dravid don't forget he use to keep wickets and also bat during crucial times, especially in the world cup australian series, pakistan series in pakistan.

John Geoffrey Wright was one of the great coach that India had in the six decades

But we fail to give him good send off during the last ended series.
