He was a great player but was not a successful caption as Clive. I doubt if he will be a successful coach. Steve waugh would be the best option, he was a great player himself and more importantly he was a great leader. What we need is a great person who can bind all together and develop the attitude of individuals and coverts them from bunch to a team.
And yes do not ask every cricketer around the globe if he would coach team BCCI.
i dont know, why we should go for foreign coach , as we have huge talented players in our country itself whose know the state of players mind and status of the pitch as well..
BCCI has to consider it seriously and pick the best one among us...
