leave bradman alone

please leave the great Sir Donald Bradman alone

First it was Sachin who was being compared and now its Sehwag ?

If cricket is all about comparisons why do we deter from comparing our TEAM as a whole with the Australian cricket team ?

Sir Donald Bradman was a genius, but he also had 10 other good players with him. Australia do not have a bradman in their current team, but still are the world champions and that too by a long way.

Let Indian cricket rise above one or two individuals. When this happens we will be a force to reckon with. Till then, it will always be 1 or 2 individuals writing themselves in the record books for good reasons, while the TEAM as a whole will have all the records for all the WRONG reasons.

..just cut it out Bob. Sehwag has ways to go before being compared to Don B. I mean, just bcoz he is in a form of his life (in Viru's own words) doesn't mean you start comparing him to an all-time legend. And of course there is always the old adage that you can't compare ppl of different eras. Besides, Don had faced much bigger challenges like Bodyline bowling and was a genius to score at an average of 100.

Maybe Viru is a Don of the millenium but the jury is still out. There are other ways to motivate him I think.

P.S. Good job on the tour Bob !
