Suggestions to Indian Team
by Amjad Khan on Apr 17, 2005 06:19 PM

Good After noon to all my Indian brothers.

1 - Please do not replace Ganguly as Indian captain.

2 - All Indian crickters should stop acting in the commercials or boared should impose the ban.

3 - All ex indian creckers so called experts, should stop creticising and blamming the players.

4 - to Sachin, please try to play for your contry not for your personel records.

Amjad

hi javed let me tell you one thing that you told sehwaag footwork is limited and he cant play on difficult pitches then you are dead wrong in ur thinking because he has scored run on the most difficult tour of newzealand when nobody could do anything from both sides he scored in australia southafrica and westindies so i thinking it is a insult to sehwaag

i totally agreed with the great mandad of pakistan about tha last game. it so pity that india was not able to answetr to afridi, i dont mine india losing to pakistan but but the way indian bowler response to him was heartlest. i thing we need to learnt a lot from Austraia. the best way to get afida out on that day is to get him angray and there was no indian bowler todo do that.
hope indian bowler learnt next time or asked to mandad.

Kudos to Pakistan!!
by Asheesh on Apr 16, 2005 10:03 PM

The spirit in which Pakistan played this cricket in India is indeed very pleasant. Indian team has always been a bunch of chokers, and it was clearly demonstrated in this series when India has given away earlier advantages provided by Sehwag. This man, like Afridi, is a risk taker and cannot be expected to deliver every time.

The final match will be interesting. I hope Pakistan does not get complacent and give away victory to India. As far I am concerned, I would like to see Pakistan win. They deserve to lift the cup, and I don't want India to take any good feel from the win of last match. India has been defeated in all sections by pakistan in both Test and One-Day and it is high time for Pakistan to seal the series with a victory.

Once again, Kudos to pakistani team which showed that Cricket is a team game. And as I suggested in my last message, India needs to start rotating the older guys who tend to lose the match in mind before the game starts yet making tonnes of money (more than other countries). The rotation will atleast make sure that this money is rotated wisely to other cricket players in India.

Let us all be sporting and applaud the brilliant innings of Afridi even if it was played against us. It was a privilege to be a witness to such magnificent batting display.
Yet these things do not occur everyday and hence India need not think too much about it. Plan well with calm mind, stick to the game plan with balanced composure and play professionally tomorrow and level the series. Best of luck, INDIA

Afridi

The idea of mixing-it-up when bowling to Shahid Afridi
is good but is no guarantee that it will work. The record-breaking century is, with due credit to an
astounding knock, only the 4th in 200 innings played
by Afridi and therefore the bowling side need not
worry too much about tactis, strategy, etc. when bowling to hm. My mantra would be to bowl to him as
one would to any other opening batsman, and chances are , nine times out of ten, Afridi will give his wicket away, he will spare the bowler the need to
'think' him out.
