The innings was truly great. It was bound to happen. All the world is moving into baseball style of Cricket. Sehwag, Gilchrist, Afridi, Hayden, Symonds, Sanath .... the numbers are increasing by each year. People like to see fast games rather than individual personal milestones. The good thing is that these guys never slow down .... when they are in 90s ... I hope players like Sachin would understand this as the future belongs to these players
People are forgetting that Sourav is perhaps the only Indian Captain who selected his Team without any preference for his region. The main reason for his success ( failure of others ) was that they tried to force players in Indian Eleven from their states or regions. Whether it was Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin endulkar or Shrikanth...... they all forgot that performace was the main criteria for selection. It was custom to have wicket keeper from the state of the Captain.....Kudos to Sourav.... he knew how hard it is to come in Indian Team..... Sachin and Sourav received different treatment...... no wonder it is still Sachin's Love for personal records which leds India to losses
