The pitch seems like having uneven bounce with some balls keeping very low and some get unexpected bounce. It would be very difficult task for Pakistani batsman to chase 250.
Its a good score. Remember low scoring matches are more closer and exciting . So watch out the thrilling finish.
It is highly dissappointing to see the selection of dinesh mongia in the team.Let me tell u one thing ,he does not deserve to play even in Ranji matches,and closely matching him is yuvraj.It is idiotic to find the BCCI dropping ganguly based on personal rivalry.He is such a good player and a very good captain.It is true that he is going through a bad patch now but in the dravid and sachin have gone through even more worse patch than this.What was the selection commitee doing that time? The teams total in this match itself proves the impact og his abscence.I am afraid india would loose this match very easily
I am appealing to BCCI to remove one who is unable to bat in time and making century when ever he needs to make scores personal. Think about sachin age and his illness for a long time.
Like Inzamam said this morning anything beyond 240 is a good score...And you must hand it over to Dravid and Kaif for pulling India out of the jawa of defeat..If not for them I think we woudn't have crossed 200 also..And the wicket dosen't seem to be an ideal batting track..So if India can feild well, stop the singles and put pressure it's 3-2 for us..What say? Any opinions?
Rahul Dravid, the stand in skipper for todays match in Kanpur was simply superb. His timing with the bat was at the right time when India really needed his help, and his ablity to stand for a long time in the crease, no wonder he is called the great 'WALL'. One of those was just seen in Kanpur, when India lost some quick wickets including that of the dashing Sehwag. Rahul's parntership with the dependable Kaif showed once again why he is regarded as the best batsman. But his ability as a skipper for a long innings for India is yet to be seen. Can he be the next 'DADA' of Indian team after Saurav Ganguly?
Great Recovery Indeed!! 3 cheers 4 Dravid and Kaif. They seem to enjoy playing UNDER pressure. Dravid has done it once again. Wat a match winner he is - a master of riding the waves.
Just get a feeling that hemang Badani has been roughly handled by the selectors. He has played lovely cameos many a times in pressure. I think we need him too.
Hi Prem, This is the first match of the series for Dravid as a captain and what a performance !! His determination and will to lead from the front is simply superb. Its unfortunate on his part that none of the Biggies at the top of the order fired. Still he and Kaif has done it again by providing india a defendable target. Now its upto the bowlers to win the match for INDIA. Lets hope for the best.
After all these things inlast Gangully is out of team for this match. We have some advise to BCCI that if possible Please kept out Mr. Saurav Gangully from Team and Dravid will be a Captain of Team until he will retired...It is a suggestion or u can keep it like against of Saurav.....Thanks in advance
