it is good to see india to win in a difficult situation. i m a great fan of ganguly. i like his sixer above the bowler's head, which is not done by him from last so many match. but now what is wrong with the capton's form. now i don't remember his any match winning performance. i like the way sehwag batting style. i want to sujest ganguly to play like sehwag. because i think attack is the best defence. my wishes will allway be there with ganguly that he will recover from his bad form.may be next match.
I am surprised to see Ganguli still playing in Indian Squad.. Doesn't he have any moral responsibility? and why even the selectors are in pressure? there are a lot of young talent in this country, any street cricket player can better contribute than Ganguli (now a days), let ganguli prove himself in first class cricket first...
This messsage must reach Ganguly direct . . . As we know he is probably the best confident captain India has ever seen. Who abt 6 yrs back could hit out every spinner in good form out of the park with at most ease as a small kid can cry. I understand his leg side capabilities against pace bowlers is still under argument. He was a God of the Offside. I remember the look on Steve Waugh setting up an 7 3 offside field for Kasperovicz and Ganguly still finding the Gap of consecutive deliveries.
As we see that he is commenting on the great performances Veeru / Rahul and Sachin are turning up. His batting performances are down to the dumps.
Someone must advice Ganguly to take some time off.
Get back to the basics. Get back to the nets. Get back to playing the domestic season. Get back to the level of cofidence.
That is the time when his batting was any intersting. Leave alone the match turning.
He will understand that there are a lot more deserving players out there and to play ahead of everyone is a daunting & demanding task.
I am just a regular guy who wants to see India go with the 7 batsmen the captain or the mgmt intends. When he is among the 7 I consider us 1 down at start.
Fabulous contributions from Sehwag, Rahul, Sachin and a fine team effort by the entire Indian squad made the victory very soothing and satisfying. Our best wishes to Saurav Ganguly and his dazzling men in blue.
