Never give up
by friends4life on Oct 01, 2004 01:25 PM

Here's a promise for you from the Holy Bible:
"I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me."
Never ever give up, for whatever reason. We have a God of second chances. He will nevr leave you nor forsake you. I just happened to read about your present situation. I am an MBBS student and all I can say is "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and he will direct your paths."

Remove complenacy fm the team and India are the world's best
by Jayaram Nair on Sep 29, 2004 10:34 AM

Dear Indian Team,

I take this opportunity as an indian to share my views to you guys and all other members involved, you are the best among the world and there is no doubt, but the indian cricket has reached a stage of complenacy and taking things for gratned and hoping luck will help them win, ther need to be fresh ideas and the urge to fight back.

Saurav ganguly should lead from the front and the team should play a waiting game, the best example being the ICC champion West indies Innings, if it was India there the match would have been finished as we dont have patience and we are riding on over confidence.

The australian tour is a good platform to begin and come back as a force to reckon with.

ALL THE BEST!!!!

Sachin should not play
by Patrick on Sep 29, 2004 09:35 AM

Why media is projecting him as the pnly saviour of Indian cricket?. Aren't there young promising talented cricketters in the country? Does the media and the selecters and the board want his grand children to cheer him on the field when he he gets o runs?. Why can't the selectors understand the cricket greats like Pankaj Roy, Hemu Adhikari,Gavasker, Sobers, richards, Hardley, Courtney to name a few have gracefully retired?. Give an oppertunity to youn talent!. Even with Sachin India of late never reaped the honor.

It is a sign that Sachin MUST now retire. Dear sachin, please make way for new talent. As such, your bat isn't blazing these days, so better be out of the game for ever.
Regards,
Smriti

In my view Tendulkar should not be risked even in the First Test against the Australians. He should be drafted only if he is 100 percent fit.
we have already risked so many players who were not fully fit to play. Zaheer khan is a case of this type as far as i know. Let us not take any more risks and play only those who are fully fit. Let us hope the master batsman will be available for the tour.
