Pathan really deserves this award, considering his performance in internatinal cricket he gave. But now imporatant is how he progresses from here, as this award is short in the arm for him ans well timed , for his morale.He is swinging the ball nicely,both the sides,and got nice yorkeres too.
Irfan Pathan is very exciting bowler. I like his attitude towards bowling. I must say that he is going to be the second Wasim Akram. He is the best among the current Indian bowlers.He has the ability to swing the ball in both the directions on any surface. His ability to swing the ball in for the right handers is really good sign. Apart from bowling he is a very useful batsman.He can emerge as a good allrounder.
I think Judge's choice is the best , considering the amount of cricket Pathan played, and performance he produced on the field,he gave ample proof of his talenton the field ,which is very important.Now he must hold on the performance, and keep it up.
Dravid also deserved it,his contribution in Australia and Pakistan for Team india's win was unparralled and unforgettable.In coming future Dravid will build on that, I hope,and will take India to the top spot.
