i think sachin tendulkar should bat down the order, we know he was the best batsman in the world but, times change right now dravid,s the best in india forget the world. without disputing his talent shachin should bat at number 4 or 5 [ he has got his avg records and runs] as his experience should help the team guide in the middle. becoz middle is wher india always falters. this is not fair on youngster like kaif and yuvraj to score quikly and also feel pressure if early wickets fall. even now if sachin wants to bat at number 1 then it proves that he has beeen quite selfish all his careers going after personal glory rather fro the team
Dear Captain, In my opinion if India bats 1st in Onw Dayers and Sachin is not in Teama nd Shewag not in Form, It is better id Rahul Dravid Bats at No 3 and Kaif at No 4. Play with 2 Spinners Sambit
kaif is a good player.He has shown that before and now again he has done it.The more time he gets to bat better he can perform....so guys just wait and see wht he can do?
i would like to preffer kaif at no.4 bcoz he was suitable at that slot,he was a kind of player is always running the score board and his running b/w the wicket is great after kaif we can use the experiance and excellance of dravid and laxman, then yuvi comes at no 7 and rest remains same Ahead of kaif i may put ganguly,in first 15 overs we lost an opener he continue the momentum along with another opener sachin ,viru are make the innings start going with great guns
Talent is useless unless one gets the oppurtunity. These 2 guys deserve some good oppurtunities now. They should be sent higher up the order more frequently.this will solve 2 purposes.They ll gain confidence when they ll score more runs since they ll have the time to get set plus thats the best way to groom them as they are the players who ll probably be the backbone once Tendulkar,Ganguly & Dravid retires. Also Tendulkar with the kind of game he playes these days should understand that he donot has any divine right to open the innings.If hes the best then he should score at any position.Being a senior member he should try to control the game in middle overs rather than piling on runs to improve his average.
