Pity Parthiv
by Gappi on Oct 27, 2004 08:41 PM

Wat the hell is laxman doing in the team, our indian side has got a good bowling attack,so there is no worry about the bowling attack.so we have 2 look at our batting strength...we r not playin against a weak side like bangladesh or kenya..but against the mighty aussies...dont forget that australia has got the best bowling attack.. so batsman like sehwag, dravid, ganguly and laxman shud lead the side with their experience...but if laxman and ganguly are gonna get out in 20s and 30s, then there is no point in playing cricket against australia... sehwag has shown that he is back 2 form by scoring 155 in the previous test.. ganguly is still in the team just bcoz he is the captain and he is leading the side well.. i think dravid is the only player who is playing up 2 everbody's expectations... so its high time they bring in good players like sadagoppan ramesh, badani who have played really well for the team.. i really donno wat happended 2 ramesh who scored a 143 against srilanka wen he last played a test match... sachin has been out of form and the team for months, so v cant expect high scores from him, he needs sum time 2 settle.i think its too harsh on parthiv, he is learning his game.

This is good

Good that Australia has won the series comprehensively. India will lose in Bombay too. I was hoping for this. Now sales of LG, Samsung, TVS Victor, Pepsi, Coke, Britannia, etc, etc, etc, etc will go up. Ironic isnt it, thats these companies make money on colossal failures.

Aussies on top
by Saravanan on Oct 27, 2004 11:21 AM

Definitely they had come up with very clear plan and they executing it successfully. They studied their mistake made on 2001.

Our guys are really lazy fellows. First they dont have self-confidence. Since they played most of the matches with aussie, as a good batsmen they should know how to play with each bowler. MOreover, We have the advantage of playing in home soil, we should not give up even single match.

Ganguly shows his brilliance in his words not with the bat. Our players initally doing well and getting into 11. Once they are one in the 11, then failing to show the consistent with bat or bowl.

Anyway, still we have the chance of winning the series. Let us hope. Good Luck To Indian Team.

Tendulkar didnt ball seamers at all
by Mir Khurram Ali on Oct 27, 2004 02:08 AM

Tendulkar started off with legspin and not "gentle seamers". I hope you know the difference between them Deepti Patwardhan.

Parthiv Patel
by Mayank Johari on Oct 26, 2004 10:20 PM

I think Parthiv Patel should be dropped from the indian squad. He dont deserve it.He is dropping the catches of the key players every now and then. The problem of parthiv is that when he makes runs,he do not keep well and when he keep well,he do not make runs.I think Nayan Mongia should be brought back in the indian team.

Alas India
by vishwesh on Oct 26, 2004 10:00 PM

India have more or less decided the fate of the match on the very first day. It is a sorry state of affairs considering the fact that bowling and fielding are far below average and the batting hardly offering any redemption. I think its more or less understood that this match will decide the series in Australia's favour.
