McGrath has dismissed Sachin quite a few times very cheap in crucial fixtures. You say Sachin scored 1789 @ 57.7 vs Australia, but how many did he score when McGrath was in the attack? How many of them were match winning or match saving knocks?
I think it will be a big mistake to play a physically unfit Tendulkar, because the Aussies especially McGrath will make it miserable for him.
