Poor report
by uma on Oct 18, 2004 02:04 PM

Dear SirMadam,
Lately for quite some time, you write the final report with session reports seperately. Though I understand the reason behind doing this, the report at the end of the play looks poor as things look very independent and doesnt provide a concise summary of what happened during the day. I am not sure who came up with the idea of just putting together the subreports on individual sessions, but it clearly hampers the quality of the article. For example, cricinfo.com also does the similar thing that you do, but their final report is pretty cohesive and they put together all of them at the end of the play. I would suggest you also to do something in similar lines because it seems boring to read your reports at the end of the play or the next day.

thanks.

come on boys..

come on boys.. lets go to Nagpur with the series standing at 1-1..
than with sachin coming in we can force the issue in the remaining 2 tests also..

see off the first session even if it is with just 40-50 runs no problems just see to it that not too many wickets are lost..

if we do that we will be home and clear.

India has the ability
by Wg Cdr MK Bose (Retd) on Oct 18, 2004 03:27 AM

It is but sure that india has the ability to score the remaining 210 runs for victory. However the combination of Australian resilence/tenacity and batting on fifth day will certainly make the task a lot difficult but certainly not impossible. All that the Indian batsmen need to do is keep their cool, put their head down and wait for the appropriate deliveries to score the required runs. The Indians boasts of having the best batting line up in the world (though they have done nothing at all in the last few months to prove this), this is an opportune moment for them to make us proud. The prayers and best wishes of millions of Indians are with them.
Good Luck to Saurav and his boys.

India VS Aus
by Zeeshan babar on Oct 18, 2004 12:45 AM

Lets see who will be the winner tomorrow? I think if india openers give a good partnership, then i think india has a chance to beat awsome Auusies. I think Aus has to play out of their skin to win this one.

best wishes

india should use Rahul &Kaif earlier as they are performing very well. V sehwag scores above 50 then india could win the test match. indian captain should need to improve his running between the wickets as even he is playing very good,he looses his wickets while running.
Today all the team has played well.my heartest wishes to team india.

1st session is very crucial
by sumit on Oct 17, 2004 10:23 PM

i think if india finishes the 1st session without loosing more than one wicket,we are through...most importantly sehwag's presence is required.
he is the only player in current team who can demoralize australian team.
i think we ll win the match
