Ever since I first saw him bat during India's tour Down Under (probably, or sometime thereafter), it was evident for any ardent cricket fan to see into Clarke as a future great, who should walk into Steve Waugh's shoes .... i.e. if things can be extrapolated! He is confidence personified. Its just that Cric Australia is very very competitive, else Clarke should be a certainty in any form of the game. An occasional failure here & another there, should not be read too much into, let him be human too!
