Sehwag has too many weaknesses .. he is not dependable when we are really in trouble. If bowlers do a little bit of research on him then can get him pretty quickly.
Ofcourse he can win matches once in a while and we need such players. We need players like Dravid too, if all batsmen are like Sehwag, we might score 1000 runs in one inning and 0 in the next.
Openers succeed in pairs. And without doubt we have one opener (Sehwag). Why not groom a youngster like Gambhir with him and let the combination succeed in the test arena.
Definitely a younger partner to Sehwag will give India the big chance of establishing a strong pair. Take Australia for example: They win so many tests only because they have rock solid openers. Lets not make any bowler / wicketkeeper a scape goat by putting him into the opening slot. Give India a real opening pair.
You can achieve more and more. Dont listen to your criticizers. Whatever the stroke/style you play is excellent. Eveerybody has their own style. Let others not try to say anymore about your style or footwork. The only reply for them is scoring more and more which you can do in all your games.
