Let Ganguly demonstrate during the forth coming Test by ensuring he can 'control' the Progress of the game with out any 'Delay'. That is if the ICC does not complete the enquiry and pronounce Judgement before Saturday.
phew..what a relief to hear that our non-performing, sponsorship hungry captain is going to play in the Kanpur Test. Plus side for corporates is that he will be playing and selecting players with max sponsorships, negative side for corporates is that he and his cronies in the team [now there are less of them with Yuvraj and Patel gone] will not be available for ad shoots during that time.. as far as rediff is concerned, one is disappointed that while you are extensively covering Ganguly's ban episode, you hardly bother about how he has been performing and captaining the side of late..

Hi Pratap, Why don't you go and play captain the side and keep all other Ganguly bashers as batsmen, bowlers, keepers etc?? I am eagerly waiting to see how you can keep up the morale of the non-performing TEAM, of which the captain is only a PART.
For heavens sake, logic says that if a person has survived in International Cricket for so long, half the time as captain of a side, then he has the required talent and abilities. I hope this goes to the head of people like you.. and mind u, U r India.. not Ganguly or Dravid or Sachin.. u have to back all players, they have proved themselves time and again..
the team was building well till pak series in pak. then the jerk realized that his place in the middle order in the test team was in grave dager. so he decided to kill chopra's confidence at the opening slot so that he could push the very talented yuvraj singh from the competition for middle order to opening slot. ganguly thought either singh would flourish like sehwag did or would fail- either way, ganguly's place in the middle would be safe. this is bad for the team. if my bengali friends could once think of team as an indian team, they would too realise that ganguly is fit for odis only! he has NO place in the test squad. but alas, the corruption of mind and character filters from the top and looking at the top-most people in and outside the cricket...i neednt say more...
