Ganguly is a pretender. He certainly didn't suffer from injury. Ashamed of his own performances, he needed some respite from all the media heat.
It's sad that in this country the cricketers are larger than the sport. Thanks to the likes of rediff et al. Also, I fail to understand how can any one injure himself while playing cricket. It is such a slow and relaxed game. After all it's played for 8 hours; which means the intensity of the sport is very low. In fact pregnant women must be advised to play cricket so as to get some low intensity exercise. And in any case, pregnant women exericse withmore intensity than these cricketers.
Let Ganguli not play in any of the tests at present.Let Dravid be the captain .select jadhav as the other opener for the Sa test and consider Venugopalrao and sriram in the place yuvraj and kaif.I think they will do well Ganguli is not in form ,and he lacks confidence.If he wants let him as an opener which he said sacrificed to sehwag. He gave it to sehwag when he was not doing well against aussis and pakistan.
