justin: Be graceful on losing
by Senthil Kumar on Nov 09, 2004 06:23 AM

Justin,

If you tell that pitch is bad after a
convincing win on the pitch. It would
look good of you.

Complaining about the pitch after losing
is just in bad taste.

Have some pride

Guys,
Why do you keep posting the articles from these good for nothing guys. Do you see any article by any Indian cricketer in any Australian paper when we visit Oz. I think you give too much credit to foreigners compared to your own people. Rediff has started to disappoint me. You seem to give me the impression that you guys think we (Indians...may be Indians who live in India) are good for nothing folks. You guys seem to be more concerned about American Election, Australian Cricket...etc. How would John Kerry or George Bush make any difference to a farmer committing suicide in Andhra Pradesh or a Kashmiri Pandit in the refugee camp. If there is any one who can make a difference it is our prime ministers and presidents. You can see that Justin Langer is just a player on the field, may be he has a black belt in Karate as per our revered commentators who are afraid to support Team India on television but his belt counts for nothing to me or million others in India. His impression of the pitch is not going to cover the fact that these guys can't play spin. I know this comment is not gonna make it, but at least I have spoken my mind.

intresting
by sandeep on Nov 08, 2004 09:57 PM

this is very intresting,i am using this word from a diplomat's dictionary. i am finding it realy tough to crack the logic these australians are using to deny a quality performance. whats definition of quality?is playing for five days an attribute for quality? its just that the australians are unable to digest a defeat. when michal clarke used the same wicket to remove six in quick succesion he was lauded for his effort.and when two young performers saved the pride of our country they come up with a story like this. this reflects ponting's inefficiancy to play against indian spinners. ultimately the world champions must be able to play on any wicket, atleast thats the expectation, i suggest ponting to go back have a chilled beer and sleep till he plays the next series, i am sure his rival wakes him up.

Would you take care not to put so much grass on your wickets next time India tours Australia?
