this is y v r far back from the australians. bcoz they only gave chances to those players who perform well in the series not in the past.but indian selectors r more reliable on there past performances. look at the saurav & laxman both players hasve no right to stay in the team but our selectors r more depend on them apart from new guys. if this style of selecting the players gose on then india never build up a good side. 1st sacked to the laxman, saurav, virendra,bcoz today india loose bcoz of these players.
The Indian Team for the OID against PAKISTAN has been declared, with the selectors once again proving what a bunch of brainless people they are. It surprises everyone to see the names of Yuvraj and Agarkar featuring in the list. Will the selectors kindly justify as to what performance of these two were taken into cosideration from the time they were dropped to the time they were picked? It is well understood that in India you need not perform to be selected all you require is a few good wellwishers at helm of affairs coupled with a bunch of brainless and spineless selectors.
wat r d selectors doin now a days is tht pickin up ny1.Why dont they pick mumbai's Waseem Jaffer into d team.as far as v know he is 1 of d best players of mumbai cricket & national level games.he played well i think last yr opening for india & tht was wen we saw him last wit two 84s to his credit.i think for d opening slot he must be d best option than ny1else.pls show Waseem Jaffers name to d selectors
I am very suprised by hearing the news that kathik was not taken in the ODI after giving the excelleent performance in the mumbai test. I dont know what should else be done by Karthik to Impress the Selection committe. And I cant understand why was Dinesh and Murli Karthik not taken in the first three test matches. Everytime Ganguly says that experience is the important thing, but how did he could be he experienced if he would have been not taken in the team. If he gives the chances to the Young players then only they will be experienced.
I hope jhadav ,dinesh karthik,sriram ,ramesh and dhoni will get chance to prove their ability and so the indian team can pick up the best players for the coming series.Yuvraj can be dropped,he is not upto the mark at present. Let him practice play domestic cricket then can be considered.
All the Indian Players should learn from VVS Laxman, that play only when you are on the verge of being sacked and keep your place for the next two-three years. This will be umpteenth time that VVS Laxman has played for the final match and remained in the team. He should be removed from the team and other palyers should be given other chance. The perfect example is Aakash Chopra, who was just given two match and sacked, even Laxman did not played for three match. Just because he played the innings of his life in 2001, cannot mean that he will play for the country even if he is not performing in 2004.
