I have heard how effective warne would have being if he had played in Mumabi. But the fatc of the matter is warne has a strike rate of 90 against india, takes just 3 wickets against india to his career rate of 4.5 and only tghis series he was able to a 5 wicket haul. He maybe the best spinner in the world ,but against he just any other bowler.
Don't you think that sachin tendulkar is getting a lot of credit every time inspite of not performing in imp. games & sourav ganguly who is the most successful indian captain ever is always under critiscisum inspite of him leading the team so well except for this series where nobody except few bowlers performed well.

sachin is the best from india till today... he deserves every bit of accolades he gets...he is not a person who is stayin in the team just cause he gets to captain a team that is winning... he is god...
so stop talkin all this nonsense about sachin
the aussies are regarded as one of the best followers of cricket...listen to them before talkin
If winning gets a roller coaster, defeat gives a setback. Depending on the opposition and the performance the defeat is analyzed. A defeat is not always a shame, it can never be glorious. But the way of defeat is indeed a shame. From advance planning to performance everything matters while analyzing india's defeat against australia. For sometime let's forget who is the best and who aspired to be the best in the world. But see the battin, bowling and fielding--doesn't it give an impression that two different attitude is there. MIchael Clark or Martyn- they know if its not grabbed at the first given chance they will again be the part of long waiting list -talented or not why to care in advance- in their world of cricket. But Karthik, Gambhir or the existing batsman and bowlers of indian team--do they have the same pressure on them? The lucky few know india will bear their failures time and again. Yuvraj knows he will be back in next series whatever is his performance. Laxman knows india have never taken a chance and will never try a fresh look even he keeps on failing as Suth Africa is coming. Matches will b on and on but they need to be under pressure to perform for salary.
Congrats Australians...U got wat u deserved. Its all about the hardwork and determination tht put them to this heights.. We must inspire frm them, not only frm a cricketin perspective ,but every challenge we have 2 face must b fought with this spirit and ditermination and try hard and plan properly to attain the goals... I hope tht many ppl in my country learn frm the AUSIE ACT!!!!
The series loss to Australia though sad should not put the team down. They let us hold our shoulders square and heads high when they toured Australia. This is especially important as I live in Australia and am well known as a fanatic Indian supporter in my work place. The loss has been difficult and it would have been greater to see a better fight put up. The Austalians are very competitive in sports and the generala population on the whole is very fit. So bys buck up and show them what u r made of.
Despite all the consolation offered by Merv the fact remains that the indian cricket teams performance through this series has been extremely poor. Ordinarly not critical of the teams performance I cant help but wonder what happened that the team has hit rock bottom .As was the case with Troy ; once the walls were breached the city was smashed to smitherines. The final frontier for the Aussies lays smashed , shattered , conqured . All that we are left with Consolation from Merv : Thanks Mate
MH (travel-agent now !)is talking through his hat again !....Present Indian team is an unmitigated disaster and my galli-girls can play better competetive cricket. Thanks
