Indian Victory

"The war was lost but the battle was won", as much as i would support this fact, i feel India squadered home pitch advantage by fielding a fast bowlers pitch in Game 3. It is India and we do rely on spin, then why not play on a pitch that offers spin. The Indian team does not get a lot of slack when they tour!

All these comments about "Dust Bowl", "Spinning Square" and stuff just supports the fact that touring teams cannot adapt well enough.

Australia cannot play spin for nuts! They have shown it in this test match and in the matches before.

Great Job By the Men in Blue!

The amazing Aussie attitude !!!!
by Vidyasagar R on Nov 02, 2004 11:30 PM

JL,

Its really amazing to see you talk like u have in ur article. Even if indians themselves would have lost confidence, it is like a brotherly but at the same time professional attitude that i see in ur article. It is this which takes u places - not at all underestimating ur opponents.

We fans will surely take a leaf out of ur book to encourage and give confidence to our so called non-performers who in fact performed beyond their level just some 6 - 7 months back and that shouldn't be forgotten. Thanks JL for reminding us of our plusses.

Great to host you people !!!!

Our hearty wishes for our players. Do ur best which you can always. Just that you have to be in the crease for long time. Go raring. We are behind u.

INDIA WILL WIN !!!!!

Extremely lucky australians

Aussies have been lucky what ever they say about the final frontier.Right from the toss at the B'lore things have gone their way. Some crucial decessions were given in their favour and that too at a time when the INDIANS are looking to get into some sort of form.I find it really difficut to under stand why it always so happens that a good umpire shows his human side more often than not only against the Indians.By saying all these i'm in no way under mining the Aussies' ability to siege the moment and come out triumps.Rub of green has not gone India's way. Some poor selectins are also to be blamed.Parthiv getting so many chances was for me surprising when one considers the history of the 5 good men into account. But there are no if's and buts in this great game of cricket.Fortune favours the brave.

Indians are out any way
by Ramachandran on Nov 02, 2004 07:55 PM

It does not matter to Indian fans what sort of expressions they show on the television screen, the series is lost and this match is absolutely irrelevent. These sort of insignificant matches are only serves academic purpose, few may score centuries, some may get 5 wickets et al...that does not change the over all picture of the series.

The interest will be lost as far as this Mumbai game is concerned. For Aussies this may be an oppurtunity to indulge in some funny things because at the end of the day, whether they lose or win, they are going to keep the rubber.

So let us accept the plain fact that this match indeed insignificant.
