First of all if I was Tendulkar, I would thank Almighty God that I am extremely rich in a country where cricket, a game that is a colonial hangover played in very few countries, is a mania and a craze.
Being filthy rich Tendulkar should maintain a low-profile and keep in touch with the masses in some way or the other by doing charity and other good gestures. He has to realise that he is an Indian, where majority of the masses do not even get a square meal a day and are living in abject poverty. He has to also realise that many Indians, who have much more academic accomplishments than him, that would put him to shame, do not earn enough money for a decent living.
Taking all these things into consideration, he should not think of ultra-luxuries like Ferrari, etc. and should be satisfied with a Maruti, Ambassador, etc. I wonder if he would enjoy driving a Ferrari on the bad roads of India, where the onlookers would feel that here is a man who is making ostentatious display of his wealth, while we are not able to satisfy even basic needs.
I would appreciate if Tendulkar could think in more rational terms.
