Murali,Main tere saath hoon :).
by Alok Kumar on May 20, 2004 07:46 PM

Yeh Aussies r bad loosers. I donno whay inspite of loosing on so many fronts {In Batting by India, In Bowling by Sri Lanka (Read Murali)}, still have the mis-conception of being the greatest.

Their shamefull bowler, who in spite of his gross misconduct {in diversified field, u can name Match fixing, sexual extra curricular activities and Drug (No, My momma gave it to me :) :))} is still playing and is rightfully howard's cricketing hero..

I really feel, that Murali is the greatest spinner, the world has seen, but I'd say one more thing that Warney is the ture All-rounder (Not is cricket, ofcourse :) :)).

So Murali, don't boycott the Aussie tour, just show 'em what u r made of by grabbing most of 'em in u'r already big wicket bag :) :). Just follow the Indian example, who have shown the aukaat to Aussies :).

Best of Luck..

PS : It would be interesteing to see that stupid aussie PM handing the MOS award to u and then on that forum decline to take the award from a stupid follish racist :).

MURLI
by sanjay on May 20, 2004 02:44 PM

guys,
what the honorable PM of Australia told was something really coming out of jealousy. Recently I read Murli's life history and it seems to be absolutely clear that only Aussies target him. Moreover Shane Warne is up his tail for the world record. Nothing against warnie. But shameful of the Aussie PM. I am really surprised the way Murli has been handling the situation in such a cool manner.Kudos to him!! Treat the world record holder and the world's best off spinner with dignity and respect. Atleast do not make such public statements. Thank god Sachin is a batsman otherwise I am sure the Aussies wud have done something to shorten his career. I am sure sehwag, dravid, laxman and sachin will pose many nightmares to the Aussies. Beware of the Bengal Tiger, if he strikes he can win a match by himself too. Anyway the bottomline is that Murli is the best and all Asians should join hands in supporting him. Murli count me in....

Banning Murali......No Way!
by Aisha on May 20, 2004 08:14 AM

First of all, Politicians don't have the right to call actual cricketers "chuckers". After all, it shows hatred towards a brown, esp. a sri lankan who has gone to the extent of grasping the highest wickets by a "white" (who should mind his own business)! Oh yeah ShaMe Warne...in mind huu? It was because of the PM that the sri lankans' are trying to do for their part! If Murali's "shameful record is to be erased from the Record Books", then how about those wickets of others who have massacred "Cricket" for their own Selfishness! Where were those masters who are now calling a brown the Chucker? This Racism is THE SHAMEFUL PART OF THE GAME...CRICKET. Oh yeah, if Murali is banned then ShaMe Warne could grasp the highest wicket holder title, and be remained in the record books for many years to come! If we chuckers along with the ICC, "the SriLankan Board, all the other criketing adminstrators around the world and the TV bosses" are a shame to Cricket World, then what about the Drug atics? So stop this nonsense, and learn to respect others..... stop just blaming one, or those supporting him.

murali doesn't chuck
by shail oza on May 19, 2004 10:22 PM

murali should not be banned. if there is so much hype about murali's action, how bout shoaib? i believe this "chucking" created by australia is a ploy to stop murali from surpassing shane warne(though he has already done so)

ICC would ban Murali if it could legally do this
by Vidya on May 19, 2004 04:00 PM

India should definately support Sri Lanka's bid to sue the ICC over banning of Murali's doosra. The ICC is only banning the doosra, cos none of their "white" players are able to play Murali. If it could the racist ICC would ban Murali all together from playing cricket.

Muralitharan's Bowling Action
by SAVinod on May 19, 2004 03:30 PM  | Hide replies

Muralitharan has always been a chucker. His continuing as an international cricketer and even that as the world record highest wicket taker is a shame on the game brought on by its administrators.
I entirely agree with the Australian PM and others who call him a chucker.
I am sure most of the present cricketers and cricket commentators of the entire world will agree because we are watching this nonsense on TV. Every ball bowled by Murali is chucking. And, the slow motion replays are there for all of us to see. But, the crickerters and commentators cannot speak out because they will have to face serious consequences for expressing the truth. They have been muzzled by the administrators and their TV channel bosses.
But people like me can say this. And, I urge other like minded cricket lovers to join in and express what we truly feel about Murali's action. And, let us raise a voice against the sham of the ICC, the SriLankan Board, all the other criketing adminstrators around the world and the TV bosses who are going along with this.
Murali should be banned for life. His shameful record should be erazed from the record books. And, never be even called a cricketer

its quite unfortunate to hear u say tht murali has always been a chucker ? i dont get the point in ur words dear frnd, i fully support srilankan pms decison to back up murali because he is a national treasure for them, murali is being dragged in to this controversy only because he will end up as leading wicket taker of all time ahead of shane warne , australian cricket board is playing a vital role in giving this issue more importance all the time , cant u c tht?
only australian umpires n australian referee s r finding this fault in murali's action, n at the same time only ppl to clear this by bio mechanic tests r australians? doesnt it ring any bell? its just stupid to talk abt muralis action at this juncture when he is the leading wicket taker of the game, dont take tht away from him, and as far as icc is conerned ... its like a headless chicken , it never had a proper way of dealing things

Mr. Vinod everybody has to agree Murali's greatness to spin on any surface. He was great spinner, he is and he will grow more strong in his remaining cricket life.
