Murali will be remembered only as a chucker. He has got a huge advantage with his bent arm(Strangely, this natural deformity is there only when he bowls, not when he bats or fields !!)
Any ways, congarts Murali, you are the best chucker around..way ahead of Shoaib, Brett Lee......
With all due respect to Murali's bowling skills, i see chucking in his action. I see chucking in Shoaib and shabbir ahmed's action as well. I am sorry if it means disrespect to these great bowlers, but i cant close my eyes. Until this issue is resolved, i propose that we maintain a separate world record book for chuckers of world cricket. Murali is the best suspect-action offspinner in the world....agreed, Congratulations Murali !!
I think this little magician is the best thing that has happened to the Sri Lankan cricket ,and for the fact World of Cricket. He was always scrutinised and decimated by 'unprofessional' and 'resentful' so called neutral "white" umpires (especially Australlians). There might be any reason for their "no ball" or "chucking" theories but it seemed that they couldn't digest a black asian from the subcontinent on the top of the table more so when Warnie was thereabout. I can't understand why Murali's bent arm and suspicious(?) action is not visible to the world including renowned past and present players and cricketing brains like Me. I know that Murali's action is different but indifferent people are not recognised. Moreover Murali's action has been closely monitored in the past including Australian biomedical scientist and he has been cleared of charges(?) against him. Now I think he has slapped his critics by the magical number of 519 and he's the only one who rightly deserves to claim 600 + wickets or any incredible figure. Even GREAT Courtney wouldn't mind to hand over his crown to him. My heartiest congratulations to Murali the magician !
