there is no doubt that sourav dada ganguly is the right person to lead india.no need to tell....his record speaks 4 him....hope he continues 4 many more years....congrats for ur success in pakisthan...
I don't think SAURAV is the best captain ever .He is not even close....I can bet if AJAY JADEJA was allowed to play HE would be taking all the allocades.Sourav is not a good captain...he is too defensive.WE need someone aggressive.I think AJAY JADEJA should be drafted back in .OR the captaincy should be handed over to RAHUL....I can bet he does a better job. The only reason that GANGULY is getting famous is becoz of what others did.He is a good player NO DOUBT but he is not the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ganguly is the best person to lead India at the moment. But as a batsman,captaincy has taken its toll upon Ganguly. Even Dravid whenever he takes over as captain fails to score runs. Wisden has always favoured the white players, but this time one cannot fault with Wisden for not including Ganguly in the top 40's. Ganguly's track record as a batsman and fielder has been mediocre and not upto standards of world class. Unless Ganguly improves his batting and fielding even his captaincy is in jeopardy. India's recent successes have been out of the ordinary and going by history one should not be surprised if India gets back into the habit of losing for reasons they are known for.
Ganguly should just take it as a challenge and ensure he is topping the list with both his bat and the team's performances. The phirangs anyways seem to be against him all the time. It does not matter as long as you don't let it get you down!
