What is the logic in including players who are not fully fit, at the cost of other upcoming players? It is time Board takes a tough stand on players who take Board for a ride.
Aren't we used to this??? Its a foregone conclusion that Zaheer or Ashish Nehra will break down in between every single tour. WHy in the 1st place are they made to play????? And if at all they are fit, so to speak, then the competency of Andrew Leipus really raises eyebrows.... how is it that everytime he certifies them fit, they land up with the same problems?? .... every second match. And lets not give the crap of playing too much cricket. Its not that Zaheer has been playing for 10 years or something. The Australians and South Africans are a living examples of fit fast bowlers. I think Zaheer and Nehra should be made to play at least 4-5 matches on the domestic circuit. And olny then considered for ANY international outing.
i dont understand, why do we play zaheer at all?? he has not been bowling at his best and further he doesnt seem to last one full series. keeps on sustaining some injury or the other!! it is the team that suffers on account of his poor fitness i think, the team managemtn and board should take an active step n ensure that he is completely fit and only then ensure he is selected
