i donot think that this should be an issue at any stage of the cricket history because the team which we are seeing is one the most successful and most appreciable one. So it is a request on all of you there please dot not make a issue. enjoy the success.
Yes,Sachin has a right to be disappointed. However it is very unlikely of him to talk about the matter in public.By doing this he has just harmed his own reputation. He would have gone down as a great TEAM-MAN if he would have said that the double didn't matter at all.Anyway media should hush up the issue asap in the team interest.
tendulkar should be allowed to complete his double. there where 18 ov'rs around are to spare this will make paki batsman to stand there without any pressure but if india allow them atleast 8 or 10 ov'rs this could make difference because batsman only try to complete those overs under pressure.look at former captain azharudden's rule in such cases ,he almost succeed in this manner or even legendary s'waugh.
It is really sad to read this article as the great batsman like sachin speaking to media about his disappointment, offcourse whole country was expecting a one more double hunred from the master blaster but if Dravid has taken the decision of calling him back it was in favour of the team as it was expected that indian could claim some wicket on that day, eventhough they could not. We are aware that any player would disappoint when he his very close to one more landmark and called back and Tendulkar is the great player who has always played for the country irrespective of his own records. Thus such comments are seen for the first time from Tendulkar regarding the decision of team. Definitely Sachin is going to break many more records in future. Thus such comments are not expected from the Masterblaster.
its very unfair with sachin what our players did with him,to have a player like sachin in our team is ourluck.for him this is nothing i wish him to score 100's in every match.
u r the one and the only one, no one can even come close to u sachin,u keep on scoring whole india is with u. besk of luck Regards satish
Many people say "Team's Objective comes first".The question is:Were the two Objectives( #1:Team's and #2:Tendulkar's 200) colliding with each other that Dravid had to choose one or the other? If Tendulkar was allowed to reach 200 by giving a couple of overs time, how would it amount to sacrifying objective #1??. Team's objective is to try to win the match.By trying to achive Objective 2, there would have been more runs and may have taken 10 more minutes.Obviously having more runs would not collide with Objective 1).So next comes 10-15 more minutes. Would 10-15 more minutes of Indian batting obstruct Objective 1).Most probably NO. ANALYSIS II)Tendulkar is 1 in 11(Really speaking more than 1) of the Team.By denying him what he would have wanted to achieve,it would affect his performance and Team's Unity(because it would affect his Will and determination) more so because he is the most senior member of the team who carried the responsibilites of the Team and Country on his shoulders for a long time.So really speaking Team's objective was affected negatively by the Declaration because of the decrease in Will and motivation of Tendulkar.By telling that it was Team's Objective I think Dravid just wanted to achieve some Selfish Objective.
