Here is a cricketeer who has the potential of being even better than Tendulkar himself.... He has the shots... but more importantly he has the guts to go for his shots at any time of his innings.. even if hes on 95... the six of Akhtar proved that... and the best thing is this bloke plays for the team and to enjoy himself... he never plays for records... Besides Rahul, no one else comes close to this attribute... Keep it up... We are so proud of you... He could be even better if he could start playing his shots after a couple of overs... but then he is the best judge !! :)
It was an outstanding innings played by any batsmen i watched recently. Free flowing, full of strokes. He can do it consistently. The setback sometimes is he throws his wicket. He knows he can bat magnificietly, but going for too many shots at times he throws his wicket. When he has got a start he should stay in & make it count. coz he is a very dangerous player in full flow. Im a great fan of his. Wish him all the luck for the series & in future. Keep it up sehwag.
