I watched what Langer did with the bail on tv. What a shame it is. Does Australia need to play such cheap tricks even in an winning seris? Or is it a 'gameplan by Ponting. Apart from playing doesnt Langer watch cricket at all?? Anyone with common sense would know that in today's cricket every action of each player in the field is subjected to camera recordings. The fine should be not just cutting 50% of his match fee, he should be banned for a couple of matches. Common...it is a very seroius, silly and cheap offense. Ball tampering is nothing compared to what Langer did. In ball tampering a player may think that changing the condition of the ball may make things worse or better, no one can tell for sure, but still the player is relying on the bowling talent to follow later on. Where as lifting off the bails and appealing is cheap and nasty. Other players who watched what Langer did and still appealed should be fined too.
