Why don't you say that INDIA Team played very well than the Pakistani team. The reason why Pakistan lost the match is b'coz they were tooooooo confident that they will win the Match (one day & the Test Match). Now will you keep your mouth shut Mr.Latif.

Hi Rediff,
I think Rashed Latif's memory is very short becouse when first one day India won the match at that time somebody from Pakistan they said that match was fixed & same day by star news asked the question to Rashed Latif that he said there was no match fixing betwen the India Pakistan match & he was so confidence at that time then how he is telling now that match was fixed ?? why his changing his words ???

SRIPAL REDDY
Rashid Latifs Allegations
by SRIPAL REDDY on Mar 24, 2004 09:52 AM

its really shameful on the part of rashid latif to make such a baseless, unsportive, mean allegations.
one thing should be nopticed here as he said that the body language of his team mates proves that thre might be a match-fixing pakistan as it was a do or die match for india they have played aggressively and there was no option left for him and his team mates than to just watch the thrashing .this would be well reflected in every player who really fights for his country......
i strongly think this FALSE ALLEGATIONS have been made by LATIF for his personal benifits

Latif may be right

Now all the cricket matches with India is a big show business (Because India is a emerging economy) This is a big revenue generation by ads, tv rigts etc.. Neither BCCI nor PCB is fool to loose this opportunity. I doubt even the very first victory over Australia by India could be a match fixing. Because of the revenue from sponsorors of matches nowdays cricket season never ends in India.

Sounds Interesting

Well, I am an Indian and I hate match fixing, but a lot of these allegations are doing the round and according to various sources, who claim their genuineness, the matches are upposed to be fixed. And incredibly, so far all the predictions have proved to be correct. The matches were supposed to go like this INDIA-PAKISTAN-PAKISTAN-INDIA-PAKISTAN. If the last match proves the prediction, I would not have doubt in the allegations. Because I might hope for a coincidence once, twice, thrice but not the fourth and fifth time too. Looking at the brighter side of the picture, the players seem to go all out in the field and if these matches are really fixed, the oscars must really go out to these players. So people, I would wait for the last and final match of the series and then decide if its really match fixing or coincidence of reports. As for the fourth match, I would absolve it as coincidence if the final match turns out to be India's way.

PCB ight sue Latif
by vrkalyanakrishnan on Mar 23, 2004 08:26 PM

People like Latif cannot digest India's fine performance and so he is making such wild and baseless allegation. Incidentally, wasn't there rumours earlier that Latif himself was involved in match fixing when he was playing for Pakistan?
