I think Nehra should be back and we should have better bowling attack. The batting is simply terrific..

Just wondering if he is going to re-write his column after the fourth ODI with a different 'tone'?

no it is not amazing because in india one of the
most confidental batsmen is rahul dravid so it is
so difficult to out him for any kind of bowlers so he
and kaif get back india to victory he is a classic
batsmen and he choose good balls to play shots.

Hello, I think Ramesh Powar is a very enthusiastic & talented young all rounder but it is very sad that he could'nt got enough time to prove his talent. Now this is the right time in the final that he must replace V.V.S.Laxman who is struggling for form. Mr.Powar can bat & ball. Wish him good luck.

biased columns

Rameez has a very biased attitude. He is in the position of PCB chairman. he should know what he is talking about. The other day he is talking about sehwag when he hit pak bowlers all around park saying that " there is some method in his madness" it hurts sehwag and also other people who reads it. Then what can he call Afridi who does not even see the ball. As pak has won 2 matches now he wants to play" good guy" type now.

first of all Rameez Raja should not be allowed to commentate on games involving pakistan as he is bound to be biased given the fact that he is a Chief executive of PCB.
his bias is clearly seen in the commnetary of the ongoing series where his comments about a paki boundary or a six or indian wicket backs so much punch while a paki wicket or indian 4 or 6 is just OK !!!

can somebody look into it immediately..
we certainly don't want him commentating for the test series..

No hype..
by Sarnath on Mar 21, 2004 03:32 AM  | Hide replies

The pakistani writers (both Rashid and this guy) seem to be very impulsive.
When they lost, they shouted :Blame it on Inzamam:
When they won, they say :Pressure is on India:

This is not proper criticism.
Relax and Enjoy the game guys,

Dude,

U think Tny Greig is God incarnate. He is simply the best HYPE master in Cricket telecasting business. All these commentators have been passionate sportsmen. Like or not they have their preferences and biases (race, country etc). Harsha Bhogle is good because he has been very less of a cricketer ( I do realize he played Ranji ... but Ranji trophy is not international) and more of a spectator. So just derive the knowledge that u need frm the commentary and ignore the unwanted garbage.

I think we are in no position to judge the chairman of PCB. He must be a capable person to be able to hold such a position. He was a test player in the yester yrs so his insight (biased or not) must be more appropriate and accurate than any laymans. I agree we let the analysis of the game be left to commentators and stop interfering.
