It is indeed very nice to see such a wonderful compilation of scores for the Indian great. My personal view is that this is a lot of past golden glory. We would like to see Sachin perfom this way even these days. Nowdays only once in a blue moon he sets these personal records to keep the statistics best! While we should give Tendulkar all that is due to him, we should look forward to grooming such similar players who can do a great job in future too! All the above was my personal view.
Can you please post a compilation of these interesting statistics for the greats of yesteryears as well aa the budding stars of today ? It would be interesting to go through these!
137 v. SL world Cup1995/96 100 v. Pak Singer Cup Singapore 1995/96 110 v. SL Singer Cup Colombo 1996 143 v. Aus Sharjah .. 1997/98 memorable match which took India into final 101 v. SL in Sharjah 2000/01 146 v. Zim in Ind 2000/01 101 v. SA in SA 2001/02 141 v. Pak in Pak 2004
India won 29 times when Tendulkar scored centuries. Still there are stupids all over this world who every now and then claima that Sachin is not a match winner.
